Nail of the Day

Hello! The nail art I tried today seems like it should be called 'The Anti-French Manicure!" *har har* I've seen it around and decided to give it a try, I used electrical tape but whatever tape works for you will also be fine. I had troubles getting the curves even, if anyone has any tips/tricks on how they keep their nail art even, I'd love to read them in the comments! :)

The look is super easy, you'll need
Two different colors
A base and top coat if you fancy
Tape
Scissors

1. (Apply base coat & make sure your first color is a color that can be painted over.) Paint your nails with the first color and wait for it to fully dry! (My base coat ended up being super light on camera, it's pinky in person)
2. Cut tape into semi-circles, place them on your finger and paint over with your second color.
3. Paint a second coat after you have waited a bit
4. Pull off the tape slowly and voila!
(This needs something, hmm, a top coat and some sparkles, but just a few..)

 Oh yes, much better!

Revlon, "Effervescent Opal" 099

Revlon, "Violet" 670

Claire's, Precious Metals

Sally Hansen, Green Tea + Olive Growth (base)

I like this look, I feel like it makes my nails look longer than they actually are, which is never a bad thing. Hope you enjoyed this post, bye for now!
